SourcePoint has announced its second annual Delaware County “Caregiver of the Year” essay contest.
Delaware County residents are encouraged to share their stories, experiences and advice about caring for their loved ones, or to nominate and share the story of a family caregiver who has inspired them.
Essays should not exceed 1,000 words (double-spaced) and should be submitted to Sara Stemen, family caregiver program coordinator at SourcePoint, via email to [email protected] or mail to 800 Cheshire Road, Delaware OH 43015, by Friday, Dec. 4.
Submissions should include a cover page with the name of the author, name of the nominated caregiver, and respective phone numbers.
Three winners will be selected by a judging panel, and the winner will receive a certificate for a one-hour massage from massage therapist and personal trainer Julie Clinger, owner of Uniquely Defined Massage in Delaware. Two runners-up will each receive a $25 gift card. Those who nominate a family member and are selected as a winner will also receive a $25 gift card.
All winners will be notified on or before Dec. 19, and their essays will be published on SourcePoint’s website as well as in the March edition of “My Communicator,” SourcePoint’s newsletter.
