Delaware police report:

A man and a woman were fighting at a residence on Penick Avenue Wednesday night. A caller said he could see the pair fighting. When questioned by officers, both parties admitted to a minor physical altercation during an argument. Neither party wished to press charges and officers mediated the situation until one of the parties left.

A woman refused to cooperate with police Thursday at 12:26 a.m. at a residence on Brendon Loop. Officers were called on a domestic violence report but the victim refused police help. However, during their time at the residence, officers cited another woman for possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Officers were called to remove a person from a home on Sunbury Road Thursday about 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man holding another man to the ground. Officers learned the man on the ground had punched another man in the face before they arrived. They also learned the man was drunk and the victim had sustained an injury to his face and eye. The drunken man was arrested and charged with assault.
