Delaware police report:

A traffic stop was conducted on East Branch Road Wednesday just after 12:15 a.m. The passenger of the vehicle, a 21-year-old woman, was found in possession of marijuana paraphernalia and was issued a summons.

A pair of boots were stolen from Famous Footwear Wednesday afternoon. Employees reported the boots were worth $69.99. There is one suspect in the case.

A woman came to police department headquarters Wednesday evening to report that someone opened a credit card account in her name two years ago and has charged the maximum amount to the cards. The woman said she is attempting to have the charges removed from her credit. The case remains open but there are currently no suspects in this case.

Police were contacted by an employee of the Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities who reported that they were contacted by a man who was making suicidal threats via text. Police made contact with the man and transported him to Grady Memorial Hospital for an evaluation.
