Delaware police report:

Three men were carrying stolen street signs and traffic cones in the area of Williams Drive and Park Avenue Sunday just before 5 a.m. Two of the three men were found to be intoxicated and were cited for disorderly intoxication. The street signs and traffic cones were returned.

A man grabbed the heads of two patrons of the Hamburger Inn Diner Friday night and then fled the restaurant. Police found him a short time later but he denied having been at the Hamburger Inn that night. Officers noticed the takeout container in his hand that was from The Hamburger Inn and found the man to be intoxicated. The patrons of the restaurant declined to press charges but he was arrested because he was too drunk to take care of himself. He was later released to a sober family member and charged with disorderly intoxication.

A couple was fighting at a residence on Pennsylvania Avenue Friday night. Officers spoke to the couple and learned that, during the argument, there had been a minor physical altercation. The parties agreed to separate for the night and no charges were filed.

A 17-year-old girl broke into a home on East Winter Street Sunday just after midnight. The girl entered the home via a window and was discovered by the homeowner. The resident declined to press charges against the girl but police arrested because she was intoxicated. She was charged with underage drinking and criminal damaging, and taken to the juvenile detention center.
