Fred Crist, streets division supervisor at the city of Delaware’s Public Works Department, was preparing to load a truck full of road salt Thursday afternoon at the city’s salt barn. Crews were preparing for the possibility of snow this weekend, which would be the first of the season. The National Weather Service reported Thursday afternoon that there is a slight chance of snow Saturday between 10 p.m. and midnight.
