Delaware police report:

A traffic stop was conducted in the area of Columbus Pike and Cheshire Road Wednesday about 1:30 a.m. During the traffic stop, police found the driver, a 45-year-old man, was found to be in possession of prescription medicine for which he did not have a prescription. The man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Delaware County Jail.

A woman living on Hearthstone Drive reported to police Tuesday afternoon that items had been stolen from her home. She told police she was storing property for her parents in her garage while they were out of town. She reported that at some point someone stole $300 to $500 in cash. Police were checking with who had access to the home because there were no signs of a break-in.
