Delaware Police Report:

Officers were called to an apartment on West William Street Wednesday morning to deal with a domestic situation. A third party called police and reported a couple was fighting. Police spoke to the female and she said she had been arguing with her boyfriend about recent events and alleged that the boyfriend threatened to harm her multiple times and damage her property. The woman said she wanted to press charges against the man. Police spoke to the man who acknowledged the argument and problems with their relationship, but denied making any threats. He was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence threats.

A man came to the police department Wednesday afternoon and reported that a fraudulent check had been put in his bank account. The man told police he had refunded the money after he realized it was fraudulent. An investigation is ongoing to determine where the money came from.

An officer was requested at Wal-Mart Wednesday evening for a theft in progress report. Store loss prevention told police that two adult women concealed merchandise in their hand bags and attempted to leave the store without payment. Police stopped the women and returned the items to the store and charged both women with theft.
