Delaware police report:

Officer noticed an adult male stumbling in the area of West Winter Street Monday at 1 a.m. The officer spoke to the man and learned he was intoxicated and unable to take care of himself. The man was asked if he could contact someone to come get him but he told officers they should just arrest him. The man was taken into custody and taken to the Delaware City Jail. He later decided to contact a sober friend and was released with a summons for disorderly conduct via intoxication.

Police were dispatched to a home on East Central Avenue Wednesday afternoon to deal with an unruly juvenile. However after an investigation police determined no charges should be filed. A report was forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court for consideration of admitting the juvenile in the parent project program.

Police made contact with a suspicious vehicle at a business on Columbus Thursday just after midnight. Police found a subject was on the property without permission and was charged with trespassing. A theft investigation is ongoing.
