Delaware police report:

A man came to the police department lobby to report that the trailer hitch had been stolen off of his pick-up truck Thursday morning. The hitch was valued at $50.

Officers were summoned to an apartment on Chelsea Street Thursday afternoon on the report of an unresponsive person. Police arrived and learned a family had discovered an elderly female was deceased. An investigation was conducted and there were no signs of foul play. Police report the death was likely from natural causes.

Police were summoned to a business in the 900 block of Pittsburgh Drive Thursday afternoon. A business reported that $50,000 of copper was stolen overnight. An investigation is ongoing.

Police received a call about a reckless driver Thursday afternoon in the area of Sunbury Road and Glenn Road. Police located the vehicle in the eastern part of the city and observed it make several unsafe lane changes. Police conducted a traffic stop and as they approached they detected the odor of marijuana. The driver admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving and she was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence. The driver was also charged with child endangerment because there were two juvenile passengers in the vehicle. The driver was taken to the Delaware County Jail.
