Delaware police department:

Police were summoned to a home on Westland Way Saturday to resolve a dispute between neighbors. Police learned one resident was upset over incidents where his neighbor would sound a whistle or air horn. Officers made contact with the neighbor who acknowledged blowing a whistle but alleged the resident had menaced them. An investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.

A traffic stop was initiated in the area of Richards Drive and Pleasant Court Saturday night. Police pulled the vehicle over for expired registration plates and during the stop, police identified marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The two occupants, juveniles, were charged with possession of drugs.

A small amount of marijuana edibles was found during a traffic stop Monday just after 12:30 a.m. in the area of Columbus Pike and East William Street. The driver consented to the search and admitted he possessed marijuana edibles and a small amount of marijuana. The marijuana was seized as evidence and the driver was cited for possession of marijuana.

A theft report was taken at a home on Lake Street after a 46-year-old woman reported that her son forged and cashed checks belonging to her. The investigation is ongoing.
