Planning Commission to meet

There will be a City of Delaware Planning Commission meeting at 7 p.m. on Feb. 1.

Bias workshop scheduled

Throughout our lives, we are exposed to millions of messages about the world around us; messages that shape our perceptions of people, places, concepts and ideas. This workshop will equip participants with a deeper understanding of our unconscious mental processing and the ways in which these implicit associations impact our decision making.

Leaders are Lena Tenney and Robin A. Wright, researchers and facilitation specialists at Ohio State University’s Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity.

The workshop will be held at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Location is Dunn Dining Hall on the MTSO campus. Cost is $10, payable at the door and includes lunch.
