Dog park closed due to weather

The City of Delaware dog park is closed indefinitely because of recent wet weather and intense use. It is extremely difficult to keep grass in dog parks, especially busy ones. This becomes even more challenging at this time of year when there is snowfall and rain, which softens the turf and leaves it vulnerable to damage. As the park ground freezes or dries up, the City will look to re-open the site for use.
