Chamber dinner called ‘another great party’

0

The Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner was another rousing success. It was held at Doubletree by Hilton on Feb. 2.

In addition to the pre- dinner cocktail reception/silent auction, attendees had their photos taken in the OhioHealth photo booth.

“Great fun addition to the event that is known far and wide for the table decorating by our creative members,” said Holly Quaine, chamber president.

Consolidated Electric Cooperative Inc. won Most Creative table. Best Representation of Business went to Emergency Plumbing Service LLC, Jet’s Pizza and Josie Posie Flower & Gifts.

Outgoing board members Bob Kuederle and Shane Dawson were semi-roasted in a fun presentation by Quaine.

New board members presented their “talents” in a ridiculous video, yet were still ratified by the membership, and of course there was the ever-popular silliness during the live auction delivered as always by that rascal Dan Boysel, who also happened to be birthday boy and recipient of the Citizen of the Year award.

The event’s last order of business was the presentation of awards and the Chamber congratulates these worthy recipients:

First Citizens National Bank

Holony Media

Quality of Life Award:

OhioHealth Tobacco Addiction Peer Group
