Historical group seeks volunteer performers

The Marion County Historical Society is seeking volunteer performers age 10-60 to perform in a vaudeville show to be presented from 8-9:30 p.m. at the Time Travelers’ Faire on May 6.

Audtions will be held on Thursday, March 2, 6-8 p.m. in the auditorium of the Heritage Hall Museum.

Singers should prepare a selection from classic music theater or popular song from 1900-1929. An accompanist will be provided.

The group also is looking for tap dancers, acrobats, magicians, comedy sketches, and more.

Performance Date: Saturday, May 6, at 8 p.m. in theTri-Rivers Giauque Auditorium, 2222 Marion Mount Gilead Road, Marion.

Rehearsal schedule to be announced.

All rehearsals will be held in the Auditorium of the Heritage Hall Museum.

They also need volunteer tech crew, orchestra musicians, rehearsal accompanists, and front of house staff for the performance.
