Columbus man indicted for stolen credit cards

A Delaware County Grand Jury has indicted a Columbus man for 12 charges including forgery and receiving stolen property.

Glen Allen Graves, 48, is charged with four counts of possessing criminal tools, fifth-degree felonies; four counts of forgery, fifth-degree felonies; one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony; one count of attempted theft, a first-degree misdemeanor and two counts of theft, a fifth-degree felony one first-degree misdemeanor.

Prosecutors say charges come after law enforcement received a call from a concerned employee at the Huntington National Bank in Westerville on Jan. 28, 2017.

“The call came when two credit cards came back as invalid after Graves attempted to use them for cash advances,” said Delaware County Prosecutor Carol O’Brien. “Further investigation showed the cards to be fraudulent.”

Similar activity was shown to have occurred the day before at another Huntington National Bank location in Columbus.

An arraignment date for Graves is not yet set.

A number of other individuals were indicted by the grand jury:

Steven L. Brickner, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Austin R. Weygandt, of Columbus, on two counts of trafficking in drugs, one third-degree felony and one fourth-degree felony and two counts of possession of drugs, one third-degree felony and one fourth-degree felony. An arraignment has been set for March 17 at 9:30 a.m.

Nicholas A. Beyer, of 28 Spring Lake Court, Delaware, on one count of trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Davon W. Thompson, of Columbus, on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. An arraignment has been set for March 17 at 9:45 a.m.

Darrell T. Gray, Jr, on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Kathleen S. Herb, of Columbus, on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Derek T. Whitney, of Sunbury, on two counts of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felonies.

Meghan E. Deckard, of Orient, Ohio, on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Misty D. Adams, of Mount Vernon, on one count of trafficking in drugs, a second-degree felony and one count of possession of drugs, a second-degree felony.

Isaac J. Covey, of Heath, Ohio, on one count of abduction, a third-degree felony.
