Pretty For Prom is in its sixth year.

The Journey Fellowship Church, located at 70 N. Walnut St. in Galena, offers high school girls the opportunity to come and select a gown for their prom.

“Pretty For Prom” will be held on Friday, March 3 from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.

The girls will be ushered into a boutique setting where they may select free jewelry, as well as shoes to compliment their gown.

Anyone interested in donating a gown, jewelry, or shoes, Sunbury Dry Cleaners is accepting the donations and cleaning the gowns at no cost.

The event is open to all high school girls regardless of need. The girls attending need only bring their high school identification for admission.
