Cub Scouts drop off a holiday donation

Scouts from Cub Scout packs 488 and 489 posed with staff from Grady Memorial Hospital recently after donating more than 70 toys for kids in the children’s wing. One of the leaders of the scouts, Linda Turner, said the Scouts collected the donations at various events in the past month. Hospital staff said the Scouts have been donating toys around the holidays every year for nearly a decade. Turner said the Scouts attend either Indian Springs Elementary or Liberty Tree Elementary.
