Four individuals were indicted by a grand jury and charged with election falsification Friday for allegedly voting twice in the May 2015 election.

Kyle J. Dufour, of Groveport, Ohio; Genesis J. Humphrey, of Columbus; Celeste A. Clark, of Columbus and Andrew T. Mullet, Plain City, were indicted Friday and charged with a count of election falsification, a count of prohibited acts concerning declarations or petitions and a count of forgery, all fifth-degree felonies.

The Delaware County Board of Elections discussed the charges at their meeting on Feb. 21 and said the four individuals attempted to vote twice. Election officials said in one case it appeared that several provisional ballots were received from the same household but all appeared to be signed by the same hand. In other causes, individuals would vote absentee and then vote in person.
