Delaware police report:

Police were summoned to the first block of West Fountain Avenue Wednesday afternoon. A caller reported an 80-year-old man with dementia had gone missing. Police searched the area and located him at a nearby hospital. No charges were filed.

A tampering with evidence report was taken Thursday around 3 a.m. in the area of Meeker Way and Stratford Road. A 26-year-old was arrested and while he was in custody the man consumed drugs he had on his person. The man was charged with tampering with evidence and transported to the Delaware County Jail.
