The Powell Police Department is searching for a burglary suspect. The burglary happened at approximately 12:50 p.m. Friday, March 3 on Charles Spring Drive.
The suspect pried open the front door and upon entering discovered the homeowner was home and ran.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 30s, with blue eyes, standing 5-feet, 10 inches and with a medium build.
Police say he was wearing a black jacket and ball cap and seen driving an older model, cobalt blue truck with a cap and chrome striping down the side.
This is the second report of a daytime burglary in the city within the past month. Powell Police recommend always setting your alarm and to leave interior lights and a TV/radio on if you’re not home.
