Egg hunt, fishing in Ashley

The village of Ashley is holding an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m. for youth up to age 8. This will be held in Newman Park by the pool rain or shine. The Easter bunny might be present for pictures.

Also, the 12th Annual Trout Fishing Tourney will be held on Saturday, April 29 at the reservoir. It is for youth up to age 12. Trophies will be awarded for largest trout caught. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Refreshments will be served. Fishing will be from 9 a.m. until noon. Be there at 8:30 a.m. to register. It also will be held rain or shine.

HPC meeting canceled

The Delaware Historic Preservation Commission meeting on March 22 has been canceled.
