Delaware police report:

A $350 bathtub was stolen from a home under construction on Old Colony Road sometime since Tuesday.

A 17-year-old and his mother reported an assault on the city’s bike path Thursday afternoon. The boy told police he was walking home after playing basketball at Mingo Park and was approached from behind and slapped or punched by an unknown person. Officers reported minor injuries on the boy’s face. An investigation is ongoing.

A woman fled from a traffic stop Thursday evening in the area of Joy Avenue. Police pulled her car over because there was a warrant out for her arrest for failing to appear in Delaware Municipal Court. However, when the car stopped, the woman got out and ran. Police quickly apprehended her and charged her with obstructing official business.

A woman called to report her 15-year-old son was unruly at their Fern Drive home Thursday just after midnight. As officers arrived, they saw the boy head out the back door and run. The boy was apprehended and found to have been consuming alcohol. He was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with obstructing official business and underage consumption.
