Delaware police report:

Officers received a report that a woman had possibly been assaulted and was lying in a parking lot in the 100 block of South Sandusky Street Friday night. However, when officers arrived they found no one, but received a call a short time later from a woman who claimed her daughter had been assaulted in that area. Officers spoke to the 14-year-old girl, who said she was punched as she walked in the alley behind a business on South Sandusky Street. Police report the daughter did not have any injuries consistent with the alleged assault. She declined to provide more details. A report was taken to document the incident.

Officers were summoned to a residence on Fairway Road Friday morning after it was reported that a 64-year-old woman was found dead in her bed. An investigation was conducted. There were no indications of foul play and police learned the woman had been suffering from several health issues.

Police were called to Kohl’s on Saturday after it was reported that a juvenile had concealed cosmetic items on her person. Police arrested the juvenile and filed theft charges with the Delaware County Juvenile Court. The teen was released to her parents.
