Delaware police report:

Seven people trespassed at an address on Downing Street Thursday afternoon. A witness reported she had seen seven teenagers climb through a window and enter an apartment. When police arrived, they found the teens and questioned them. Police learned one of the teens had an outstanding arrest warrant with the Ohio State Highway Patrol for a traffic violation and was taken into custody. Another teen was taken into custody for a probation violation. Police contacted the owner of the apartment who said he hadn’t given anyone permission to enter the building. Police say burglary charges are likely.

Merchandise worth $124.98 was stolen from Wal-Mart Thursday afternoon. Police say a man entered the store, filled a cart and left without paying.

A man jumped on the top of a car Thursday night in the area of Park Avenue and South Washington Street. A man reported a man was jumping in and out of traffic. However, the man fled when police arrived, leading to a short foot chase. Police apprehended the man and found he was delirious and under the influence of drugs. The man was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. Police spoke to the original caller and found his windshield had been broken. The man at Grady was charged with criminal damaging, obstructing official business, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
