The third annual “Running with the Roses” fundraiser to benefit Stockhands Horses for Healing will be held on Saturday May 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Ohio Wesleyan Hamilton-Williams Center, Benes Room, 40 Rowland Ave.
Participants can enjoy food and drinks while watching a live stream of the Kentucky Derby. Derby attire, including floppy hats, is encouraged.
Approximate post time is 6:34 pm.
A $45 entry ticket includes hors d’oeuvres, restaurant food samplings and two drink tickets, with additional drink tickets available for purchase. There will also be a silent auction, “Best Derby Attire” prize and other giveaways.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Stockhands Horses for Healing, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing equine-assisted therapies to veterans, adults and children with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities.
