Hope College graduate

James Williamson will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in mathematics. Commencement exercises will be held Sunday.

Williamson is the son of Steven and Donna Williamson of Delaware.

Hope College is located in Holland, Michigan. It is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America.

Ashland University graduates

The following students completed their Ashland University degree requirements and will graduate during commencement ceremonies today.

Terra Brown of Delaware, will receive a Master of Business Administration degree. Brown is majoring in Executive Management.

Jessica Day of Sunbury, will receive a Master of Education degree. Day is majoring in Curriculum & Instruction: Educational Technology.

Anthony Forrest of Westerville, will receive a Master of Education degree. Forrest is majoring in Educational Administration.

Vedavyas Hariths of Lewis Center, will receive a Master of Business Administration degree. Hariths is majoring in Executive Management.

Brittany Harr of Lewis Center, will receive a Master of Business Administration degree. Harr is majoring in Executive Management.

Robert Opalenik of Westerville, will receive a Master of Business Administration degree. Opalenik is majoring in Executive Management.

Jason Wood of Westerville, will receive a Master of Education degree. Wood is majoring in Curriculum & Instruction: Educational Technology.

Owen Heckman of Westerville, will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree. Heckman is majoring in History and Religion. Heckman is a 2013 graduate of Westerville South High School. He is the son of Kirk and Gwendolyn Heckman of Westerville.

Columbus Millet of Delaware, will receive a Bachelor of Science degree. Millet is majoring in Exercise Science. Millet is a 2013 graduate of Rutherford B. Hayes High School. He is the son of Elizabeth Millet of Delaware.

Colin Suffecool of Powell, will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree. Suffecool is majoring in Political Science and History. Suffecool is a 2013 graduate of Olentangy Liberty High School. He is the son of David Suffecool and Karen Carter-Suffecool of Powell.

Kyle Wahl of Powell, will receive a Bachelor of Science degree. Wahl is majoring in Geoscience Technology and Management. Wahl is a 2013 graduate of Worthington Kilbourne High School. He is the son of Douglas and Staci Wahl of Powell.

Bethany Meadows of Ostrander, will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree. Meadows is majoring in English. Meadows is a 2014 graduate of Buckeye Valley High School. She is the daughter of Christopher and Diane Meadows of Powell. Meadows is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors.

Mora-Brenes honored at OWU

Michael Mora-Brenes of Radnor was honored April 23 at Ohio Wesleyan University’s 2017 KuShinda (to be victorious), a celebration sponsored each year by the OWU Office of Multicultural Student Affairs.

Mora-Brenes received the Pete and Barbara Smith Outstanding Studen Leadership Award and Liderazgo Outstanding Senior Leadership Award.

KuShinda recognizes outstanding student leadership, academic achievement, and community impact.

Marietta College recognizes students

Marietta College students received academic awards and scholarships at the annual Spring Honors Convocation on April 20.

Jonah Mitchell, of Delaware, received the Phi Alpha Theta Award and is majoring in Political Science and History.

Brian Raiff, of Galena, received the The SPE Award and is majoring in Petroleum Engineering.
