The Delaware Police Department is investigating information received Friday regarding an alleged child enticement that occurred Thursday on Rockcreek Drive in the area of New Market Drive at about 7 a.m.

A middle school student told police she was walking to the school bus stop when a male driving a black car slowed, opened his door and requested she enter his car. The victim ignored the requests and continued on her way.

The suspect was described as being white, 25 to 30 years of age, with spikey blond hair. The vehicle he was driving was said to be smaller, black in color, with a loud muffler, some rust and a spoiler on the rear.
