First & Main of Lewis Center has announced its grand opening celebration on May 18, to introduce their premier Assisted Living and Memory Care experience to the Greater Columbus area.

“Bringing our unique approach to Assisted Living and Memory Care to the Columbus area is thrilling because it opens more opportunities to provide residents with exceptional care in an active, vibrant neighborhood,” said Amanda Rossbach, executive director of First & Main of New Albany and Lewis Center.

“Beyond providing the highest level of care, our goal is to culturally redefine what it means to age by providing educational opportunities that support residents and their families as they make this important life transition.”

At the intersection of the many resources residents need to live healthy lives, First & Main provides the comforts of home in an upscale environment with main street amenities, including: patios and outdoor dining areas, bistro and fine dining options, movie theater, workshop, chapel, and a courtyard, a news release states.

The close attention to detail and use of superior materials resonates from inside each suite to the sun rooms and many other gathering areas and results in a safe, comfortable environment.

There is also an extensive portfolio of innovative care programs at First & Main of Lewis Center. The community features award-winning HUR Fitness Equipment to provide a state-of-the-art exercise experience and utilizes Care InnovationsTM QuietCare, which learns a resident’s patterns and alerts care staff of significant changes.

To ensure safety, Radio Frequency Wristbands easily unlock a resident’s suite, providing convenience, security and peace of mind.

Located east of US 23, First & Main of Lewis Center’s residents and families will have quick access to a Meijer grocery store, as well as several retail options nearby.

First & Main of Lewis Center will be joined later this spring by an additional community in New Albany.

“Having toured this facility and met with some of the staff members, I could not be more impressed. said Lee R. Bodnar, administrator at Orange Township. “As Orange Township continues to grow, the board of trustees are always seeking to bring high-caliper professional businesses into our community – and First and Main certainly exemplifies these qualities. We are very proud they chose to locate in Orange Township.”

The event will be held May 18, from 3-6:30 p.m. at 8875 Green Meadows Drive, and will include live entertainment, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Tours of the community will be available.
