Delaware police report:

An officer noticed a man being chased by another man in the area of North Union Street Saturday night. The officer spoke to witnesses who said one of the men was acting erratically and was armed with a gun. Officers stopped the men and learned from witnesses that one made had threatened the other at a business on North Union Street. However, police learned the suspect did not have a gun but was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated menacing, disorderly conduct and misconduct at an emergency and taken to the Delaware County Jail.

Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies report:

Traffic on State Route 203 was tied up for several hours Monday afternoon while emergency services attempted to put out a barn fire. Deputies report Elm Valley Joint Fire District, the Tri-Township Fire Department, the Scioto Fire Department, the Radnor Fire Department, the Waldo Fire Department, the Prospect Fire Department, Northern Union County Fire and EMS and Delaware County EMS responded to the scene. No one was injured in the fire, records show.
