Delaware police report:

A traffic stop was conducted in the area of North Liberty Street and West Winter Street Thursday just after 1 a.m. A 19-year-old was found in possession of pipes and other marijuana paraphernalia and he was charged with possession and released.

A 79-year-old woman called police Thursday afternoon to report that someone had used her information two open a cell phone account. An investigation is ongoing.

Officers were summoned to Speedway Friday just after midnight to investigate five juveniles who were out past curfew. Police made contact with the juveniles and found they had shoplifted candy from Speedway and were eating it. All five were charged with curfew violation and theft.

Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies report:

A 51-year-old man died Wednesday after he reportedly shot himself by accident at his home on Willow Springs Drive in Lewis Center. The incident is under investigation.
