A Lucasville, Ohio man was indicted Friday by a Delaware County grand jury and charged with possessing child pornography.
The grand jury returned an indictment against Joseph R. McGeary, charging him with four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance and two counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor, all second-degree felonies.
The indictment states that McGeary created or distributed an image of a minor in a state of nudity on four separate occasions.
An arraignment for McGeary has not yet been scheduled in Delaware County Common Pleas Court, but a summons to appear in court has been issued to McGeary. According to the Ohio Revised Code, the penalty for a second-degree felony is between two and eight years in prison.
Other individuals that were also indicted by a grand jury included:
- Lauren M. Fissel, of Blacklick, Ohio, was charged with one count of theft, a fourth-degree felony.
- Dakota T. Longworth, of Columbus, was charged with five counts of theft, one fourth-degree felony and four fifth-degree felonies; two counts of possessing criminal tools, fifth-degree felonies; four counts of identity fraud, one fourth-degree felony and three fifth-degree felonies, and one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.
- Stephanie L. Deangelis, of Columbus, was charged with two counts of theft, one count of receiving stolen property, and one count of identity fraud, all fifth-degree felonies.
- Kerline P. Gilbert, of Homestead, Florida, was charged with two counts of forgery, fifth-degree felonies; three counts of identity fraud, two fourth-degree felonies and one fifth-degree felony; two counts of theft, one fifth-degree felony and one first-degree misdemeanor, and two counts of misuse of credit cards, a fourth-degree felony and a fifth-degree felony.
- Robert C. Clay, of Powell, was charged with one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony; a count of tampering with records, a third-degree felony and one count of prohibited acts involving certificates of title, an unclassified felony.
- Brian R. Murphy, of Pataskala, Ohio, was charged with one count of aggravated vehicular assault, a fourth-degree felony.
- Gaston D. Houston, of Meridian, Ohio, was charged with four counts of theft, two counts of receiving stolen property and two counts of forgery, all fifth-degree felonies.
- Devonta J. Quinn, of St. Louis, Missouri, was charged with four counts of theft, two counts of receiving stolen property and two counts of forgery, all fifth-degree felonies.
- Fassil M. Berihun, of Westerville, was charged with four counts of theft, one fifth-degree felony and three first-degree misdemeanors; one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony; one count of misuse of credit cards, a fifth-degree felony; and four counts of identity fraud, fourth-degree felonies.
- Jacob D. Davidson, of Centerburg, Ohio, was charged with two counts of operating vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth-degree felonies, and one count of falsification, a first-degree misdemeanor.
- Joshua B. Greenwald, of Westerville, was charged with one count of theft, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a fifth-degree felony.
No arraignments had been set Friday afternoon.
