Delaware City Police report:

A 16-year-old male was charged with disorderly conduct Friday night after he darted into traffic and struck the front corner of a vehicle on West William Street. Police responded and believed the teen was under the influence of an unknown substance. He was transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. He was found to be in possession of several doses of an over-the-counter medication and charged with disorderly conduct via intoxication.

Police investigated a reckless driver just before 4 a.m. Sunday in the area of South Henry Street. Bystanders reported a vehicle almost struck a fence and drove onto the multi-use path. Police stopped the vehicle and found the driver was erratic and said he attempted to crash his vehicle in order to harm himself. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for evaluation. No charges have been filed at this point.

A fight was reported Sunday afternoon in the area of 50 Eaton Street. Police arrived but found no one fighting. Some people in the area said all the involved individuals had dispersed. Later that evening, officers received a call from a woman who indicated she was at Dublin Methodist Hospital for an injury she suffered in that fight. A report was filed and an investigation is ongoing.
