The Delaware Police Department reported that U.S. 23 northbound is down to one lane near Mingo Park.

“US 23 NB down to one lane near Mingo Park due to a truck and boat off the roadway — Use Caution and Avoid the area if possible,” the department posted on Twitter.

The Delaware County Emergency Management Agency is asking drivers to avoid flooded roadways. If a road is flooded, take the time to turn around and find an alternate route. The Delaware EMA is asking drivers to remember the message of, “Turn around, don’t drown.”
