Arts Castle closed Saturday

The Arts Castle will not be open to the public on Saturday, June 24 due to the facility hosting a private wedding reception.

Culvert repairs on Curve Road

The Delaware County Engineer reports that a section of Curve Road will be closed June 26-30 for culvert replacement work. The stretch from Winding Creek Lane to Dale Ford Road will be shut down as crews install the new culvert. The roadway is expected to be open to traffic on June 30.

Liberty Township trustees Special Meeting

Liberty Township trustees will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. Monday, June 26 to consider measures for traffic control due to the increased traffic at Jewett and Liberty roads. The meeting will be held at the Township Administrative Offices, 10104 Brewster Lane, Suite 125, Powell.

Penguin coming to library

The Newport Aquarium WAVE Foundation is bringing an African Penguin to the main branch of the Delaware County District Library. The family program is planned for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27. The main library is located at 84 E. Winter St.

The Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28 in Council Chambers at Delaware City Hall, 1 S. Sandusky St.
