Delaware police report:

A woman called the police department to report a woman she knew was having suicidal thoughts. Police made contact with the suicidal woman and transported her to a counselor.

A traffic stop was conducted in the area of Park Avenue and South Washington Street Tuesday just before 2:30 a.m. A passenger in the vehicle was found to be 16 years old. Police made contact with the juvenile’s parents who asked he be charged with violating his curfew. The juvenile was later released to the custody of an 18-year-old sibling.

Police responded with fire fighters to a working fire at a business on South Sandusky Street Wednesday around 4:23 a.m. Police found that fireworks had been set off from the roof and eventually caused a fire to start. The case is under investigation by police.
