A sentencing hearing has been rescheduled for a Stoutsville, Ohio man who pleaded guilty to five counts of child pornography.

Braden T. Shalosky, 37, was scheduled to be sentenced Monday morning after he pleaded guilty to five counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor, second-degree felonies, at a hearing in June.

However, on Sunday, Shalosky’s defense attorney, Dominic Mango, filed a motion for a continuance and asked that Delaware County Common Pleas Judge Everett Krueger delay the sentencing so that Shalosky can prepare for the hearing. Mango said that Shalosky has been engaged in intense therapy and counseling since he pleaded guilty to the charges in June.

On Monday, Krueger granted the motion and rescheduled the sentencing hearing for Sept. 11 at 9 a.m.

Shalosky pleaded guilty to the charges as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors. Under terms of the agreement, 15 identical counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor were dismissed.

Prosecutors also demanded that all electronic devices with the child pornography on them be destroyed as part of the agreement.

Shalosky was out on bond Monday, awaiting his sentencing hearing.

According to the indictment, between April 23, 2011 and Dec. 15, 2012, Shalosky did “create, record, photograph, film, develop, reproduce, or publish any material that shows a minor participating, or engaging in sexual activity, masturbation or bestiality.”

According to the indictment, the youngest victim is less than a year old.

According to the Ohio Revised Code, the potential prison term for the second-degree felony charges is two to eight years in prison.
