Delaware police report:

• Police took a theft report in the area of Liberty Road and Freedom Lane Monday morning. A resident reported that someone had entered her vehicle and stolen a pack of cigarettes.

• A forgery report was taken Monday afternoon at a business on South Sandusky Street. Police report two blank checks were stolen from two women and cashed for a total of nearly $2,000. Police report there is one suspect in this case.

• Police were contacted by a manager at a restaurant Monday afternoon after they reported that an employee was observed removing cash from a register. The matter is under investigation.

Powell police report:

Officers responded to 4000 W. Powell Road at 4:19 p.m. Monday to investigate a two-vehicle crash. Police said a vehicle improperly backed out of a parking space and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported.
