Delaware police report:

A woman was punched in the face Sunday about 12:40 a.m. in a parking lot at 40 S. Sandusky St. The woman said the man who punched her had nearly hit her with his car as he left the parking lot. The woman did not have any signs of injury. Police spoke to the man and he told officers the woman kicked his car. He also denied driving close to her. A report was forwarded to the Delaware municipal prosecutor’s office.

Juveniles damaged a community room at the Londontowne Apartments on Chelsea Street Sunday afternoon. An employee of the apartment complex said juveniles damaged window blinds and wrote on mirrors with nail polish. Police located the juveniles and spoke to them and their parents. The apartment complex is not pressing criminal charges but will be pursuing the matter further with the parents.

A prisoner at the Delaware city jail scratched part of his name into his cell wall on Friday. The damage was discovered Sunday. Charges will be forthcoming, police said.

A woman was threatened by the estranged father of her children Friday morning over the phone. Police were summoned to the woman’s Birch Row Drive home and she told police she had ordered the man to stop calling her but he persisted and even threatened her. Officers spoke to the man, who acknowledged the calls. He was issued a summons to appear in Delaware Municipal Court on a charge of telecommunications harassment. Officers also ordered that he have no contact with the woman.
