Delaware police report:

• A burglary in progress was reported at a home on Ohio Street on Monday afternoon. The suspect was reported to be a black male wearing black pants, a black shirt, a black ski mask, and black gloves. He fled the scene in a tan Dodge sedan. An investigation is ongoing.

Delaware County sheriff’s deputies report:

• An investigation was started Sunday night after a hit-skip accident was reported on High Street in Ashley. Deputies report a woman was sitting at a stop sign when she was rear-ended by another vehicle. She told deputies that the other vehicle fled the scene after damaging her car. An investigation is ongoing.

• A Remington .22 caliber rifle was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on County Road 605 on Sunday afternoon. The weapon was worth $300. An investigation is ongoing.

• Burnout marks were reported at a parking lot on Fancher Road in Westerville on Saturday afternoon. A report was taken to document the damage.
