DATA Bus will begin Saturday bus service within the city of Delaware, starting July 11.

Passengers have been requesting Saturday service through fixed route surveys, DATA officials say. Four Delaware city Saturday routes will be shortened versions of the existing Monday-through-Friday Delaware city routes.

The routes will run from about 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Two public hearings were held on May 28 where the new routes were presented.

Schedules can be viewed at www.ridedata.com. A mailed scheduled can be requested by calling DATA at 740-363-3355 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
