Shelby Milliken (left) gives her classmate, Carlee Baldridge, a valentine Thursday afternoon at Delaware’s Carlisle Elementary School. The girls are kindergarten students in Kimberly Becker’s classroom and were participating in their Valentine’s Day celebration. Students, and some of their parents, made valentines and took turns putting valentines and candy in their classmates’ boxes — just in time for Valentine’s Day Sunday.
