The Delaware-Knox-Marion-Morrow Solid Waste District’s special drop-off events have been scheduled for 2016.

The district encourages residents to participate in any of the four events provided that you are a resident of one of the four counties, organizers say.

The events include:

• Hazardous waste and paint collection: April 30, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Morrow County Fairgrounds. Fees will apply, and only cash or checks will be accepted. For more information, call 419-947-1545.

• Electronics and tire collection: May 14, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Marion County Fairgrounds. Fees will apply, and only cash or checks will be accepted. For more information, call 740-223-4120/

• Electronics and tire collection: Sept. 24, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Knox County Fairgrounds. Fees will apply, and only cash or checks will be accepted. For more information, call 740-393-6704.

• Hazardous waste and paint collection: Oct. 1, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Delaware County Fairgrounds (U.S. 23 entrance only). Fees will apply, and only cash or checks will be accepted. For more information, call 740-368-1700.
