The Delaware Board of Education has approved a number of staffing changes.

The board on Monday voted to accept the resignations of two employees — Jennifer Swisher, a cook and cashier at Delaware Hayes High School, and Jenee Carr, a bus driver for the district.

The board also approved two $500 stipends for curriculum work completed outside the contract day for Denise Luksic and Amanda Morman, who worked on an Algebra I course and a physical science course respectively.

Three supplemental contracts were also approved for the 2015-16 school year. Allison Reed was approved as the seventh- and eighth-grade girls assistant track coach; Ann Puthoff was approved as the seventh- and eighth-grade boys assistant track coach; and Chad Adams was approved as the seventh-grade softball coach. All three will work with Dempsey Middle School students.

A change order was approved by the board for the Hayes High School phase I side improvements which includes the stadium and new tennis courts. The change order reduces the budget by $1,852.03, lowering the new contract total to $2,732,867.97.

The board will meet again on March 7.
