Delaware police have released a sketch of the man they are seeking in connection with an attempted abduction Wednesday afternoon. About 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, an 8-year-old girl was walking to a family member’s home on Troy Road in the area of Hickory Lane when she was approached by a man in a dark gray truck and was offered a ride, police said. The girl refused the ride and the man grabbed her arm before she got away, police said. The sketch was developed with the help of the girl. Police say the man has been described as a white male between the ages of 30 and 40, with short brown/gray hair and an unshaven face with gray stubble. He was reportedly wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt with white paint on it. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 740-203-1111.
