To the editor:

On behalf of Oak Grove Cemetery and as a city of Delaware and Delaware County resident, I would like to express my gratitude to the fine men and women who have served this country, and continue to serve our city and county as part of the various Delaware County veteran organizations.

It was an honor to work with them on the Memorial Day program and the Parade of Flags at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Thank you to all the veterans’ organizations for sponsoring the flags on the grounds and the Parade of Flags again this year!

A total of 125 flags lined the pathways through all three veterans sections and included the five military service flags. What a wonderful way to honor our fallen and all our veterans this past Memorial Day weekend. Thank you!
