The Buckeye Valley boys soccer team started fast and never looked back, rolling to an 8-0 non-league win over visiting Marion Pleasant Monday afternoon in Delaware.

The Barons were boosted by J.P. Seliskar, who had a hat trick just seven minutes into the action. Brayden Fox added two goals, Jack Kaiser had one of his own, and freshmen Gradin Gentner and Vander Webb scored their first career goals to highlight the win.

Treyden Williams wasn’t tested often, but did save the one shot he faced to collect the shutout.

Buckeye Valley, which improved to 2-2-0 with the win, opens its Mid-State League slate Wednesday against host Wellington.
