The Olentangy Liberty boys golf team continued its perfect run through league play Wednesday, winning its third straight OCC-Buckeye Division match thanks to a solid 302 at Clover Valley.

The effort gave the Patriots, who are now 15-0 in OCC action, a stranglehold on the conference crown. Olentangy finished second with a 308 while Westerville Central (316), Orange (331), Westerville South (337) and Westerville North (354) smoothed out the scoring summary.

Kyle Mitchell led the Patriots — and almost everyone else — with a 73. Mitchell and Westerville South’s Troy Taylor nabbed co-medalist honors. Other Liberty contributors included Trey Rath, who finished fourth among individuals with a 75; Ronnie Foth, who finished with a 76; Jacob Hickman, who had a 78; and Cole Corder, who closed with a 79.

The Braves also had a pair of top-10 finishers. Matt Homza finished third among individuals with a 74 and Cameron Casto finished sixth with a 75.
