Pacers, Pioneers split in Delaware

Hayes’ Chase Kimbleton competes in the high jump during Tuesday’s showdown against visiting Olentangy Orange. Orange’s Parker Castillo won the event by clearing 5-06 while Kimbleton nabbed runner-up honors. The Pioneer boys edged the Pacers 71-66. In girls’ action, Hayes, which swept the four relays, won three field events and took top honors in five individual running events, beat Orange 84-53. Brooke Glesenkamp, Torie Young, Alicia Rittenour, Macie Wright and Madeline Hayes were each multi-event winners for the Pacers.
