Bus involved in US 23 crash

Traffic was backed up on U.S. 23 South after a school bus was involved in a multi-car-collision at the intersection of U.S. 23 and Hyatts Road. Troopers from the Ohio Highway Patrol report that two people were transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital and Mount Carmel Health but no students were in the bus during the crash. Ohio Department of Transportation reported the traffic signal was out of service and urged motorists Tuesday afternoon to treat the light like a four-way stop until the light was restored. Deputies from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office were also on scene assisting highway patrol troopers. Southbound traffic on U.S. 23 was down to one lane for several hours. The collision was reported at approximately 3:07 p.m. No other information was available.
