DELAWARE — Lori Anne Rogers, 52, of Delaware, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 4th, surrounded by her loving family. She was a light for Christ throughout her brave battle with Ovarian Cancer.

Lori was born April 30, 1970, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Robert E. and Patricia K. (Rife) Barry. Her family later relocated to Marion, Ohio, where she later met her husband, Mitchell Rogers. They were married on May 6, 1995, at Smeltzer Road Alliance Church in Marion, Ohio.

Lori is survived by her loving husband, Mitch; her daughter, Julia (David) Kelly; two sons, Ethan Rogers, and Seth Rogers; one brother, Robert Alan Barry; and three sisters, Danielle (Reggie) Streicher, Dawn (Lori) Wallace, and Leslie (Todd) Cunningham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lori will be remembered most, as a devoted wife and mother. She deliberately chose to stay at home and raise her three kids. Spending time with them was Lori’s world.

Lori was very passionate about her relationship with God and loved singing at church. Before Lori became very sick, she worked for Grace Clinic in Delaware, where she enjoyed ministering to people in need, calling patients, and praying with them.

Lori had many hobbies, but one of her favorites was enjoying the beauty of God’s creation, by taking nature walks and long bike rides with her family.

A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2022, at the Marion Cemetery, 620 Delaware Ave., Marion 43302, which is open to all. A Celebration of Life service will be held, Friday, September 9, 2022, at 2 p.m., at the Grace Powell Church, 7600 Liberty Road N., Powell 43065.
